Samuel Jean-Baptiste, MD

Chief Program Officer, Co-Founder

Samuel Jean-Baptiste became interested in medicine after juxtaposing the health disparities he experienced in his formative years in Haiti with that of socioeconomically disadvantaged individuals in the US. Joel Pierre

SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN

Joel is a native of Eight Mile Rock – a settlement located outside of the City of Freeport on the Island of Grand Bahama in the Bahamas. His love and interest for medicine began as he was noticing from a young age that there was so much more that he and everyone else in his community was missing as it relates to medicine and everything about it. After seeing how the lack of education from a medical perspective affected so many he made it  his dream and goal to learn more about the field and making a decision to pursue it as it is his passion. He is an undergraduate student at Valencia College preparing for his matriculation to a University where he will complete his degree in Psychology and a minor in business. He hopes to go on to medical school to acquire his medical degree.
